Fall/Winter 2026 Collection; brought to you by My Little Pony

Stella McCartney’s Fall/Winter 2026 presentation at Paris Fashion Week was a vivid celebration of the equestrian world, staged fittingly within a riding hall in the Bois de Boulogne. In a playful nod to childhood nostalgia and her lifelong love of horses, guests were greeted with invitations consisting of retro My Little Pony toys, each adorned with a custom logo-engraved medallion. This whimsical theme set the stage for a collection that balanced McCartney’s signature sustainable ethos with a surprisingly rich color palette. Moving away from traditional autumnal neutrals, the runway was saturated with deep jewel tones—The jeweled pieces at the end of the show, immediately reminded me of THAT Lacroix sweater (you know the one) on the cover of Vogue, circa 1988. The vibrant hues provided a high-fashion contrast to the rustic, sand-covered paddock where live horses, guided by equestrian artist Jean-François Pignon, moved among the models to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Horse.
